Based in Nanjing, in the Jiangsu Province of China, Hopeful Hearts is a charity run by women, from both the expat and local communities, that helps fund life-saving operations for children with heart defects. Since it's inception in 2003, Hopeful Hearts has helped almost 200 ailing children.
In 2009 our reach expanded to include the Chengdu area of Sichuan Province when one of our members relocated to that area.
We are also fortunate to have a group of ladies who relocated back to Germany and have continued to support Hopeful Hearts through their volunteering and fundraising efforts.
